Antwerp’s Most Brilliant Jeweler Designs Trophy for the Three-Cushion World Cup

The Three-Cushion World Cup will be held on Saturday 21 February at the Antwerp Hilton Hotel. AMB jeweler Patrick de Landtsheer designed a unique trophy set with 618 diamonds specially for this occasion.

The Three-Cushion World Cup is returning to Antwerp after a four-year absence. Billiards legend and multiple-time World Champion Ludo Dielis is the driving force behind this event. This Saturday, current World Champion Sung-Won Choi (South Korea) will take on the Belgian Frédéric Caudron, two-time winner of the World Championship. The winner of the Super Cup will receive 5,000 euro.

Whoever is chosen as the world’s best player three times in five years will win the Ludo Dielis World 3-Cushion Player Award, a trophy in the shape of a billiard cue and ball, set with 618 diamonds and valued at 50,000 euro. Patrick De Landtsheer of Diamani Jewels BVBA, one of twelve Antwerp jewelers having the Antwerp’s Most Brilliant label, designed the trophy.
