Antwerp Diamond Sector welcomes students at SID-in fair

For the third consecutive year, the Antwerp Diamond Sector will participate in the SID-in fair, which will take place from 13 till 16 March. In collaboration with the Fonds voor Diamantnijverheid and HRD Education department, AWDC will provide information about introductory diamond polishing courses and the sector in general.

Visitors can expect an interactive info session. Pieter Bombeke, a well-known polisher in the diamond sector will give a demonstration.The fair is organized by the centra voor leerlingenbegeleiding en het Agentschap voor Onderwijscommunicatie. Last year, the fair introduced secondary students to a wide range of study and career opportunities available after secondary school graduation.
