Diamond boots mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records

The diamond boots that AWDC had commissioned in the framework of the Hong Kong Business of Design Week (December 2013), have made the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s “most valuable boots”:
A pair of size-6 ankle boots made with 4,738 g (167 oz) of gold and covered in 39,083 natural fancy coloured diamonds weighing 1,550 carats was unveiled by Diarough/UNI-Design and A.F. Vandevorst (BEL) in Dec 2013. The boots were valued at $3.1 m (£1.93 m).
