Vote for master polisher as this year’s artisan in the spotlight

‘Ambacht in de kijker’ is a yearly national competition that seeks to promote the crafts sector vis-a-vis the general public. Among twelve selected finalists is Antwerp master polisher Pieter Bombeke. The general public can also vote for their favorite. Pieter Bombeke is a third-generation master polisher with 40 years of experience. Not only does he transform rough stones into perfectly cut and sparkling diamonds, he also develops new cutting patters, with special optical effects. The winner of the people’s choice prize will receive €2000. Voters are also eligible for a chance to win a culinary gourmet basket, valued at €100.
