South Africa Diamonds & Precious Metals Regulator and AWDC discuss future cooperation

Last week, AWDC also had the pleasure to welcome a delegation from the South Africa Diamonds & Precious Metals Regulator, who visited Antwerp in the framework of the 36th World Diamond Congress.

The South Africa Diamonds & Precious Metals Regulator can be considered similar to the Antwerp Diamond Office, controlling all exports and imports of diamonds to and from South Africa. During the meetings with AWDC Management, a number of current challenges for the diamond industry were elaborated on and future close cooperation on a high level was also examined.
