Invitation // Antwerp Diamond Networking Event & Antwerp Diamond Night, Call for Sponsors and Antwerp-Designed Jewelry

We kindly invite you to two exclusive networking events, on 14 October 2014 in Shanghai, organized by the AWDC in the framework of the mission to Shanghai and Singapore, organized by the City of Antwerp.

During this mission, AWDC will be hosting an Antwerp Diamond networking event, and an Antwerp Diamond Night, both on 14 October 2014. If you are interested to be a sponsor or could help us find unique, Antwerp-designed jewelry pieces to showcase during our events, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You can find more information on the AWDC program, the call for sponsors and jewelry and the Mission below. Please note registration is mandatory in order to be able to participate in mission.

Step 1: Register for the Mission (October 12th - 17th)

This mission, in the presence of the Mayor of Antwerp, will take place from 12 until 17 October and is a unique opportunity for Antwerp companies and sectors to expand their network in Shanghai and Singapore and make new contacts with potential business partners. The mission is organized in cooperation with the Port of Antwerp, Flanders Investment & Trade and the Belgian Consulate in Shanghai, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Antwerp-Shanghai sister-city relationship. Following the successful cooperation between the Antwerp diamond and fashion industry during last year’s Business of Design Week in Hong Kong, the Antwerp World Diamond Centre decided once again to work with a designer from Antwerp. During a fashion show in Shanghai, fashion, jewels and diamonds from Antwerp will be showcased.

A participation fee of €300 applies.

Step 2: Register for the AWDC Events (October 14th)

Establish new business contacts in China during 2 networking events in collaboration with Shanghai Diamond Exchange (open to Antwerp diamond companies only):

Antwerp Diamond Networking event: meet and greet with Chinese jewelers (Speed date session).

Antwerp Diamond Night: an exclusive event in the presence of a delegation of Chinese VIPs, jewelers, retailers and other representatives of the Chinese jewelry and diamond market in collaboration with one of the most renowned fashion designers from Antwerp.

Places are limited and on a first come, first served basis.

For the AWDC events a participation fee of €750 applies.

This fee includes:

• Branding for your company (on-site logo - company brochures - promotion).
• Participation in both events for 2 persons.
• Chinese interpreter/liaison present at both events.

Sponsors & Jewelry showcase

Would you like to be present at our events with maximum visibility? We are looking for sponsors! Please contact us via marcom@awdc.eu if you are interested in being a main sponsor for these events.

In addition, we are looking for unique jewelry pieces created by an Antwerp designer/jeweler that will be showcased during the Antwerp Diamond Night, and will give an extra sparkle to the fashion show. Please let us know if you’d be interested to showcase your jewelry during the fashion show at the Antwerp Diamond Night.
