Will your company win this year’s ‘Export Lion (De Leeuw van de Export )” award?

The Antwerp diamond industry is a sector to be proud of. We are the world's largest diamond trading hub, with a yearly turnover of more than 40 billion euro, representing 8.25% of Belgium's total exports and 10% of Flanders’ exports. The fact that we are one of the most important export sectors of Flanders and Belgium is a true asset, which should feature more prominently in the spotlight. The ‘Export Lion' is an annual prize awarded by Flanders Investment & Trade, to companies that were most successful in exports in the previous year. The 'Export Lion' will be awarded in two categories, ‘small enterprises’ and ‘medium/large enterprises’.

This competition is a unique opportunity for the Antwerp diamond industry to rightfully gain attention for being a true economic heavyweight in Flanders and Belgium. We therefore ask Antwerp’s diamond companies to participate in this competition.
