Recap: AWDC Café on E-Invoicing (required as from January 2026)

On February 5, 2025 AWDC successfully hosted the webinar on e-invoicing, drawing an impressive audience of nearly 400 registrants. With many others having joined our in-person session the week before, it’s clear that businesses are eager to prepare for the invoicing changes coming in January 2026.

From January 1, 2026, all Belgian VAT-registered companies will be required to adopt structured electronic invoicing when invoicing other businesses. These invoices must be exchanged directly between the software systems of both companies via the regulatory Peppol framework. Traditional methods, such as sending PDFs by email, will no longer be sufficient. If your business has a VAT number, this obligation applies to you.

We were delighted to partner with Deloitte for this webinar, where their experts provided invaluable insights into the new requirements and what businesses need to prepare for.

If you missed the live session or want to revisit key points, we’ve got you covered! The full webinar recording is now available below.

Stay tuned for more updates, resources, and guidance on e-invoicing as we approach 2026.
