FiltersEarlier this month, the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) launched its first sustainability report in the presence of Governor Cathy Berx and many other relevant stakeholders. This sustainability report was one of the objectives of the Master Plan 2020, which the sector launched in 2012. The English version of the report is now available on the AWDC website.

Over the past number of weeks several Antwerp and international based diamond companies have been victims of a failed, foiled or successful cyber crime.

Delcorde was given a tour of the Diamond Office, the Antwerp Diamond Tender Facility and the HRD diamond lab.
Bloomberg News this week reported that Firestone Diamonds selects Antwerp as the market to sell stones from its Liqhobong mine in Lesotho, further confirming the diamond center as the preferred point of sale for diamond producers worldwide. The sales in Antwerp will take place in the form of electronic tenders.
